Course Overview:
Stage 1 of the Quranic Arabic course is designed for absolute beginners who want to build a strong foundation in reading and understanding the Qur’an.
This stage focuses on the Arabic script, basic grammar, and essential vocabulary, with a special emphasis on correct pronunciation and understanding simple Quranic sentences.
Learning Goals:
By the end of Stage 1, students will be able to:
- Recognize and pronounce all Arabic letters (ا to ي) with proper vowel marks.
- Understand letter shapes and how they connect in words.
- Identify and pronounce short vowels (Fatḥah, Kasrah, Ḍammah) and markers like Sukoon and Shaddah.
- Read and write simple Quranic words and phrases.
- Build a foundational vocabulary of the most common Quranic words.
- Form basic nominal sentences in Quranic style.
